Reform News

Reform has specialized in transforming Ikea kitchen into a personalized expression by adding architect-designed cabinet doors and countertops. The Danish award winning designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm has designed Reform´s new addition to their cabinet front collection. Her design is based on a focus on the door handles, not as a detail but as a part of the whole front expression. The handle has become a part of the entire front, a frame for the door itself, and is and interpretation of facades and window shading in classic Japanese architecture. By breaking up the solid front surfaces with strips of ash, Chris L. Halstrøm has created a kitchen that is less rigid than many traditional kitchen designs, and are available in three models; “Beige” and “Grey” color fronts and countertops with natural ash, and the “Nero” front with black lacquered ash .

Afteroom studio has created a dining room cabinet that is dominated by a simple but expressive vertical lines that give a classic, long lasting design, just as the Afterooms design philosophy. The cabinet comes in two sizes with four different colors, to be combined in eight different configurations, with a black Corian top and black powder coated support.

The cabinet design by Swedish Note Design Studio plays with the contrast between a modern style and traditional elegance. It appears as a sculptural furniture with its colors and the materials wood and terrazzo. It comes in to different variations with two or four fronts, and are available in burned orange and white, with a 20mm top and side panel in polished terrazzo in matching colors.
